You'll notice below there are 4 NWS reporting stations for the GC
which usually report in once or twice daily.

Part of the confusion is the fact that the official temps for Grand Canyon
are taken out at the airport in Tusayan 7 miles from the rim. I...

I've seen this a couple times in the winter at Phantom and I think
Bob is probably right on with it being some sort of inversion--very
strange...

It was warm in Arizona yesterday. We hit 80 degrees in Phoenix so 63
in Flagstaff and at the Grand Canyon is definitely possible.
