I went to Clear creek in July one time. The temps at Phantom
reached 116. We had no trouble however--we did just what they say to
do--we hiked very early...

The trail to clear creek is HOT, HOT, HOT in the summer. No
shade. If you do it early enough in the day, though, you
should be fine. Take plenty of water...
