More like a coiled serpent when viewed from the top of the Supai,

Connecting a line from Lees downriver. Didn't do it all at one time
so they sought out a lot of rim to river routes and set caches. Ron

Well, now I'm a bit confused. The route I've taken twice was
definitely in a ravine most of the way. From the top of the Redwall,
the route goes directly up...

If you have a local REI store; try calling them about repairs. I
know they replace zippers in tents; so they may do patch work too.
