Topo, by itself, doesn't have the 3D feature, it can only shade your map to give a 3
dimensional appearance, but it does help. A companion product called...

I also felt Marion-Seiber was easier than expected to follow from the bottom going up not only in route finding but also in maintaining safety.

Hand stitching is not all that hard. You can also use denium
iron on patches from both sides, one side will hold the other on.
And you can stitch them...

The rt at 49.9 is not difficult as far as exposure or climbing but rather
difficult to follow. First: there is a fairly good trail along the river to 49.9...
