That was a river trip.
The problem is cost and size of panels required and time
in sun for charging.
On a dory trip? No way. Electrons don't like...

The technology for a self-outfitted raft trip is a car or motorcycle

You can definitely walk the river bank from Jackass to Salt Water
Wash. People have reported going down Salt Water and a Boy Scout
group had a boy drown...
