Hi Dave...there are moutain lions in GCNP. I saw one in 2003 on the North Rim out near Tuckup. Have never heard of any modern day man-cat encounters(attacks)....

Is there any "real" likelihood of encountering a mountain lion in the
Canyon? I suspect that they are there, but I've never heard of any
