Hi Don...hiking out after an envenomation is a bad idea as you would never make it under the usual senario. Most folks will go into shock once the venom hits...

There are 2 other options to remember: one is to signal to the rim or
aircraft for rescue; the other is to contact a river group. I think
either of these...
