Jim,
It is risky to advise someone you don't know on a first time
GC hike. You mention lots of choices and I think YOU must be
the judge of which to do....

BCO has maps with numerous routes. More than Harvey's at Cline. They used Harvey's and many other sources. Some routes shown, can be a bit off.
