Matkat is a walk through in the Redwall/Mauv if you continue up the main streambed. There are a couple of minor easy bypasses. But you may be talking about...

Great dayhike near Cottonwood camp
Just down the North Kaibab trail from Cottonwood Camp about a half mile or so is Wall Creek. The trail crosses its mouth just upstream from where it empties...
