Good point Dick. We were doing a group trip in upper Escalante one
spring and of course the boots were soaked. I left them out to dry
that night rather than...

In arctic/alpine conditions it is very important to keep your feet dry.
Frozen shoes are not a lot of fun to wear. In those conditions I prefer...

Who says we keep them dry?
Take them off after the rain stops, drain them out, put on dry socks,
and continue. They eventually dry. Guess it is called wet...
