Hello, Sounds like you have a pretty good idea of what to bring. I
have been a backpacker for over 30 years and I usually take the same
things I eat at home...

It is also nice up on top of Mt. Baldy down south of Tucson 60 miles
away towards Mexico, in the Santa Rita Mtns.

Put your food on a scale. I eat a pound a day of dry food--my
boyfriend eats a pound and a quarter. If your rim to rim is passing
Phantom Ranch you can buy...
