Me, too. Faxed on May 1, got the permit yesterday (May 31). It said
that it was processed on the 18th. I didn't get first choice either.
Guess it will be...

Leave the sleeping bag at home and buy a fleece liner and maybe a bivy
as that's all you'll need in June.
