Escalante Route
The Gov'ment people say I can visit the Canyon in October. We'll
enter on the New Hance trail, and then follow the Escalante Route
east to the Beamer...

Yeah Bob I was in there for the first time in 1996 or 97. The slide did look
somewhat fresh at the time and there were just a few cairns marking a path.

This narrow section (taken this April) is between the rubble/slide area and the
top of the wall that Deer Spring comes out of. This didn't bother me as much...
