Keep toenails cut very short and ALWAYS wear 2 pairs of socks...I use an "under" sock made of thick orlon(some synthetic blend) I buy at Costco and then...

The canyon requires quality boots that fit. It is no place for cheap boots, boots that don't fit right or boots that are so worn they no longer support.
