I agree with all of the above but I would like to add the effects of aging
and arthritis. I too wear sandles or Tivas especially on downhill. Arthritis...

socks, don't change them unless they get wet or very dirty, and if my

I have never had a blister in about 60 days of Canyon backpacking,
and I'm not quite sure why. I don't bother wearing two pairs of
