beach he refers to 1/2 mile downriver from the LC confluence --
accessible by a slope...

We have permit for 3 nights in Palisades. A hike to the confluence
is a must. The permit specifically prohibits camping within 1/2 mile
and states that...

safest way to do this but can involve long waits, several hours, any
time of year if it is the wrong day of the week. They would also have
