Some quick comments on this:
I would be distressed by NPS constructing cairns for administrative
boundaries... I feel this is inconsistent with wilderness...

Jim, I wondered this myself a couple of weeks ago. There is a pretty nice
campsite perhaps 5-10 minutes...

I looked at your jpeg and I think the TI map is correct. The only
official map must be in the BCO and I don't know if they are
distributing any official...
