KlearWater is basically a pre-mixed AquaMira. The downside is a short
shelf life.

I agree even though I own a Katydyne and MSR "hiker" filter systems...I usually just take tincture of iodine and put 3 drops/qt and let sit for 30 min. I will...

If the water is green,go ahead and pump; if it is brown,put tablespoon of alum in the 5 gallon pail(or same ratio for less water) and let set at least 30...
