Thanks Doug...I had a boatman tell me he hiked over to the mine from main Bass (camp 108.3RM) and back in 6 hrs....this does not seem correct to me.What do...

There is not much left of this trail, and I think not only time, but
keeping the trail open and fueling and running the burros must have
been hard....

nice pictures....how long would you estimate it took Bass to go from his upper River crossing(at bottom of So.Bass) over to the asbestos mine via the land...
