Just received my mid-April permit for Red Canyon, Hance Creek, and Horseshoe Mesa.....this was my first choice. For my 23 hikes in GC, I can't ever remember...

From anyone who has used it, what is you experience with the Black
Diamond Lightsabre bivy? Is it water-proof enough?

I guess I should have added I have great trail and route sense now,
gear to heavy to carry so I'm going to have to sell it and get the
lightweight stuff...

That was probably the old cattle and horse route about half way down
the road from Crazy Jug to Monument Point. That route is pretty obvious
from the bottom...
