Sorry to all the 4X4 fans but I think 4x4s are over rated. I grew up in the Mojave Desert and got along fine with 2 wheel drive cars with high ground...

I've owned several Jeep Cherokees during the past 11 years -- all of
them were excellent on 4WD roads. But I've only rarely needed both 4X4
