Worked for us a couple of times. Alway carry one. When it didn't work
was terrain limitation not lack of connection with an airplane. Have to
be patient...

Having successfully used a signal mirror on the Tonto Plateau between
Bass and Crystal, I can positively say they work anywhere in Grand
Canyon that there...
