I've always found the going a bit slow along the river - I am sure
the hike you describe could be done in a long day but it's a lot of
boulder hopping, etc...

The non-technical version of this might be descending 6.3 slide and
downstream to Soap Creek and out, yes? Is this too much for a day with
good daylight...
