I've been comfortable with a 45 degree bag in the inner canyon during early
May. Often it's been too hot at night to sleep in the bag. It's a different
story...

What are the temperature ratings of your current bags?
Are you warm, medium or cold sleeper?
Do you have experience pushing a bag below it rated...

Having never been to the area, I'm purchasing gear for a mid-May trip
to the canyon. Looking at temp ranges it looks like lows can vary from
