ribbon falls or other good day hikes from B A campground????
Hello. I have a permit for third week of March. Will spend two
nights at BA campground. Looking for info. on day hikes from BA
campground to ribbon falls...

I've been snowed on a couple of times on the South Rim in mid May. Not much and gone by noon, but indicative of the temps.

When I've gone, we camped at Mather at the top and left a car (actually
truck) somewhere when we went down. You could bring extra blankets or
an extra bag...

I've been comfortable with a 45 degree bag in the inner canyon during early
May. Often it's been too hot at night to sleep in the bag. It's a different
story...

What are the temperature ratings of your current bags?
Are you warm, medium or cold sleeper?
Do you have experience pushing a bag below it rated...
