Are there mosquitos in early March? Will be hiking over to Crystal Creek; any other advice on this trip is appreciated (besides "don't do it").

Well,with a permit you could take out at Diamond Cr.,etc. BUT without a permit you could take out almost anywhere...BUT going beyond Crystal made it harder...
