Were these trips as long as from LF to Crystal or was the raft used
to connect rim to river routes and cross the river occasionally? A
lot of us have used...

Mosquitios in early March?
Are there mosquitos in early March? Will be hiking over to Crystal
Creek; any other advice on this trip is appreciated (besides "don't do
it").

Well,with a permit you could take out at Diamond Cr.,etc. BUT without a permit you could take out almost anywhere...BUT going beyond Crystal made it harder...
