If you haven't gone yet you can also do a 14 mile round trip to Ribbon
Falls, like most everyone suggests, or do some Clear Creek, and when
you get back go up...

You'll just have to check the forecast. I was there last weekend on
both the trails, and the SKT was completely clear. The BAT had 1/2" of
snow on the upper...

Ventilated trail runners are my recommendation if you're comfortable
