You could easily do a New Hance/Grandview trip. We're doing it in 4 days but it is only about 20 miles so a three day hike would be doable. Adrian.

A couple things to consider. Can you get to the canyon early enough to hike into the canyon on Day 1? That would expand your options and give you another...

You can walk down stream at Clear Creek as well. I haven't done it and I think there is one tricky place between the Tonto at Clear Creek...
