We tied twine in the tent (stake) loops and borrowed rocks to hold up our tent at both locations. Of course we put the rocks back when we broke camp.

Walt - with a little work you should be able to get stakes in the ground at those locations assuming they're pretty durable ones. You won't need a sleeping...
