They may be the culprit but I can tell you when I dayhiked that area
for a week, I ate every single breakfast and dinner there without
incident...quite tasty...

Jim - One nice day hike is the Dripping Springs - Waldron trails as
a loop. I did that in April. You can read my trip report...

Ryan, I had to hike out from Phantom in $4.99 K-mart water shoes and socks because of horrid blisters on my heels from well worn boots. No problem. Good...
