Are you planning on hiking down SK and then up BA to IG on the same
day? If so, this is a bad idea. I suggest staying at Phantom Ranch
at the bottom after...

Kach - I like your alternate plan much better. However, I think I
would skip the day hike from IG to the River. That will add 4 or 5
miles and two trips...
