Hermit is much easier than Tanner and there is water along the way
where the Tanner is bone dry all of the time. I wouldn't recommend
any first timer go down...

Has anyone ever tried the gel pads that the dancers use for hiking?
I thought it might save the toes from the S. Kaibab trail. Wouldn't
