Rim to Rim in April 2007
I am hoping to do a Rim to Rim hike with my brother in late April of
2007 and was seeking any advice anyone might have as far as planning,

Smoke in the canyon?
The view from the Yavapai webcam looks really hazy/smoky today. Are
there controlled burns underway on the North Rim?

Hi Drifter, yes, you get it exactly. A whole host of rangeland ecologists

I recall that the NPS determined that the "buffalo" had some cow
DNA...Buffalo Jones, after all, was trying to cross them with cattle
before he sold out. ...

I haven't seen any bison yet, but I did see their droppings on the upper
part of the North Bass trail and all over Powell Plateau when I was there
last May....
