Interesting comment on going downhill. We are a couple of 50 somthings, and
even on training hikes we have found going downhill to be MUCH harder...

I received my March permit in the mail on November 4, after faxing
in the request on the 1st. Three days! I've never seen anything
faster than three weeks...

Received the best surprise in the mail today......a GC hiking permit! The surprise is that it came so soon. Will do SK-Tonto-Hermit. Haven't been out there...
