I presume the rescue was late in the day or otherwise could have retreated to Indian Gardens Heli-pad? Also believe Sally was on Boucher (White's Butte?)...

Sounds like hard work... Was it a broken bone. Just curious why air evac wasn't used? I think NPS won't fly after a certain hour but aren't "others" able...
