Ron,
It depends. I you have six people sleeping solo in two person tents you
will have trouble. Six people sleeping cowboy will be roomy.

We got our campsite for 4 at the same time as our permit. This is our
first hike so I don't know of anyother way to get campsites so maybe
someone else...
