up to the North Rim at 9500' to find dew. Shade does become very

July in the inner canyon is typically 100+ during the day with an average low of 77F. Unless you are camping on a river beach dew is rare.

As noted stakes don't do well. Add extra long cord to your tie outs and if it gets windy find a rock and use the cords to anchor the tent.
