--Barb- being in "good shape" helps, but won't get you through this.
A young "Boston Marathoner" died here two years ago, so being able
to "run marathons"...

Most who are in really good "Grand Canyon" shape can do the hike you
are suggesting. Problem is... many people who try are not in as good
of shape as they...

It's a relatively easy task for a reasonably fit person.
I did this trip on December 22nd and enjoyed it.
Heat is your enemy.
