One trip was Grandview to Hance Rapids and out via Red Canyon, the other...

closed. A few months ago a ranger at the backcountry
office told me it was closed at a point about 7...

The main road from the North Rim developed area to Swamp Point IS NOT
CLOSED! The road to Point Sublime as well is open. Only the road out...

I have hiked on the Esplanade from Kanab to Fishtail in October

years ago). We found many potholes full of water about three or four
miles south out...

time I would like to stay on the Esplanade instead of
dropping down to the river.
