Unless I am wrong, I think Larry is talking about the
North Kaibab trail, with a stop at Cottonwood Camp,
not the GrandView Trail via Cottonwood...

Nuts... mixed up my Cottonwoods again -- you do not need any
"desperation water" coming down NK Trail -- just some tablets and
enough sense to divert to...

Thanks. I know there is water on the way down @ tunnel and
springs..but i don't really want to have the extra weight if i really
don't have to bring it.....

Personnally, I used less than 2 liters of water on
the South Kaibab Trail last year, at the end of June.
Temperature at the ranch was really hot,...

Doug, would a 3 liter bladder and say a 32 oz bottle of electrolytes
be sufficiant from say, north rim to cottonwood in late may.. then
from there to BA...
