I've never heard of a three tent limit (but what do I know) and there
are standard sites that could hold six one-man tents (but only if you
all match :) ). ...

I certainly am NOT the voice of experience because I have never taken a
tent into the Canyon.
I share a two person tent with a guy, but I sleep...

I am not certain of this, but I seem to recall that there is a limit of
3 tents/campsite, unless you are in a group site. Regardless of
whether or not...
