I recently used a Globalstar sat phone on a river trip. I chose
Globalstar because it was substantially cheaper package than an
Iridium phone---I wouldn't do...

This idea was tested some years ago, by assorted boot and clothing makers and
it proved to be a monster. The original idea was to include signaling devices...
