Yes, I really did feel a sense of accomplishment! I had to stay very focused; traveling alone on this steep trail, plus the heat, I didn't let my guard...

I've seen lion tracks (fairly fresh) on the terrace across Shinumo Creek from the old Bass
Camp a couple of times. And very fresh tracks in Whitmore Wash...
