New to GC hiking
I have studied that problem before and could not find a
less expensive way to do it. There are ways to get
transported but by the time we moved three hikers...

BTW.. then night two at Cardenas Creek is a very nice spot. The trail

Both times I hiked the Escalante route I started out from Cardenas Beach. It is a large beach with plenty of good camping. The Escalante route starts there...

We stayed at the Unkar Rapids overlook on night 2 and 75 mile on night 3
when we did this trip several years ago. Both nice spots as I recall.
