Three of us are doing Nankoweap in a few days. I have done it before
from the Nankoweap trailhead but was wondering about the alternate
(Saddle Mtn)...

Tanner trail;
1st day hike to Palisades Creek
2nd day hike to LCR confluence + .5 miles
3rd day hike back and dry camp on the Tanner ascent. Maybe cache...
