North Rim Snow Depth
Weather service is reporting only 51 inches of snow at the North Rim
Ranger Station.
Forecast says parts could get another foot with the next storm.

I haven't used a guide as my rim-rim treks have been dayhikes...
But Discovery Treks sounded interesting as they claim to only need 2
people to make a trip...

Don't know anything about discovery treks. However you may want to
check out the Grand Canyon Field Institute, they have natural
history "classes" that are...

I was curious and called these guys.
Guy on the phone was pretty new and only knew of 1 rim-rim trip last
winter but they have 3 scheduled with 1 next month...

In October when I went down Old BA there was a lot of brush and a few fallen
trees. The upper part of the trail was fairly faint. I imagine snow would
obscure...
