Tanner Trail update
I descended Tanner on April 5th and ascended on the 10th. The trail
crew has done a most admirable job on the rock-fall area that closed
the trail last year...

I had my first experience with that section last May. It is still one of my favorite parts...and I am not at all good with heights. I left the NK trail head...

It is wider than the pictures show and below the tunnel. BUT the mules do go to Roaring Springs and so you may have to deal with them. We were fortunate...

Like so very many things in the GC, it is far bigger than it appears from
a distance. It is, in fact, at least 6 feet wide I'd say, probably closer to 8...

Monument Point Road Conditions
I called and spoke with someone today at the Kaibab National Forest
Service office in Fredonia about road conditions through the North
Kaibab to Monument...
