I guess another option is the very light metal Sigg bottles. I think
they're aluminum, too light for stainless steel. I suppose you could

I always got the "Plastic" taste from the softer nalgenes, but never
from the hard bottles. My favorite color was the Neon Yellow, that was
discontinued...
