I agree with Rich that UTM coordinates are much easier to use than
Lat/Long. All of the 7.5-minute quads have the UTM coordinates
marked along the map...

Wayne, great post. I rarely use the maps on my GPS because the
screen is small and I want a broader 1:24K view that you can only get
from a large paper...

Yes, the pictures are of the Scary Spot. The Scary Spot is actually
before Marion Point, not between Marion Point and Tilted Mesa which the
writeup refers...
